RMD Kwikform Hong Kong is supplying the formwork and falsework for Hong Kong’s latest luxury condominium development.
Work began on the Waterfront Waves complex in March 2009, already RMD Kwikform Hong Kong equipment is onsite and being put to good use in forming the buildings lift core and wall formwork. Both these areas are utilising formwork constructed from Superslim Soldiers with GTX crossbeams, the formwork is being craned in to each individual section, poured, cured and repeated. A further delivery of Airodek and Rapidshor is due to arrive on site shortly to start forming the slab floors. This will allow an increased cycle time on forming the slabs across each of the four blocks on 15 storeys.
Comprising of over 400 units, Waterfront Waves overlooks the picturesque Bedok Park Reservoir and once completed will offer a full range of leisure facilities including a swimming pool, aqua gym and tennis courts. Client Hytech Builders Pte Ltd is due to complete the complex in 2012.
