RMD Kwikform is pleased to announce the official launch of its newest company, RMD Kwikform KSA. Operating as a standalone business in the region, RMD Kwikform KSA was launched at the April 2009 Saudi Buildings & Interiors Exhibition (S.B.I.E.) held in Jeddah, and has since secured several orders from major contractors in the Kingdom.
RMD Kwikform believes that its range of products and services can add value, and reduce both costs and construction programmes for contractor’s formwork and shoring activities in Saudi Arabia in the way that it has successfully demonstrated across other countries in the Middle East.
To date the company has opened branches in Al Khobar in the Eastern Province and also in Jeddah in Western Province with combined storage areas of 25000m2. A third Branch in the Central Province will be added early in 2010.
Hire equipment exceeding 10000tonnes in weight is already in the process of being shipped into the Kingdom and this can be easily supplemented at short notice by the substantial fleets held in adjacent countries such as the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain should the need dictate.
General Manager Brian Street who has over 20 years experience in the Middle East, much of it in Saudi Arabia, commented “We are building up a core hire fleet of modern product including our renowned Alshor plus aluminium shoring with its 120KN leg capacity, Rapidshor which is a high performance steel shoring system ideal for bridge deck construction and Airodek a high productivity slab forming system ideal for commercial buildings.
In addition to these products there are also several other ranges including our 1000KN capacity Megashor props, Table Form systems and Maxima panels for wall formwork and stock of our Rapidclimb jump form and Tru –Lift self climbing formwork systems, effectively offering our customers a ‘one stop shop’ for all their Formwork and Shoring needs.”
RMD Kwikform recently exhibited at the Saudi Build Exhibition in Riadh, where contractors had the opportunity to discuss first hand with Brian and his team how RMD Kwikform KSA can assist them in upcoming projects with this exciting range of new products, all backed up locally with the very high level of engineering support which has earned RMD Kwikform its global reputation for engineering excellence.
